Delicious coffee and cannoli. Good space to relax close to Finsbury Park station . More selection of cakes and sandwiches would be an improvement!

Six months ago, this place was a hands-down 5 star. I went there every day! The staff were so friendly and welcoming, the food was wonderful, and the coffee was spot on. While I used to visit every day, things have changed...
The coffee is still good, but it takes a lot longer for it to be made. The croissants (which are made there - yum!) are often underbaked. The staff has changed, and have been replaced with people who are notably not as friendly. It's like all the things that made this place special have been replaced with generic coffee-shop options. In the midst of summer, they've stopped ordering lids for iced lattes. Once, they were out of all lids (for all coffees).
I'm posting this more in hopes that they can turn it around, rather than to dissuade people from visiting. -

I had a delicious breaky of avo, roasted tomato and a runny egg here but the coffee is a definite no no. Too hot, slightly burnt... If they'd employ a proper barista I'd definitely come back!
